This week I've been hard at work on my marketing makeover, learning, revising, strategizing, inventorying, meeting with my mentor, etc. All the while working on client projects = many super late nights. However, I am just delirious with excitement over the new ideas, inspirations, and ventures that are on the way.

Actually, Poppies & Pencilshavings is included in my marketing makeover and that thrills me because I love my pretty space here. Hence, I've created a Twitter account @bouclesbelle  just for my little blog. This way I can tweet freely and abundantly about hair, musings, yoga, food, fashion and writing without throwing off my marketing and web development followers or being passed over by potential followers.

I've been doing a bit of housekeeping i.e., adding illustrated categories (soon to be active), an About page, identifying my favorite topics, more photos to share, etc. Fun, fun :)

I wanted to share a quick hair update. I meant to wash my hair this past Tuesday (Day 7), but my hair still feels great and clean. Also, it seems to be getting softer each day I just leave it alone. So why mess with it, right? Since I've made it this far, I'll hold off on washing my hair until Saturday (11 Days) and have a hair/mani/pedi day with lil' one and my mom. So here is Day 8 Hair!

I am just loving these two-strand hairline braids. Easy, breezy, pretty - especially since it's still pretty humid down here in Florida.

And a simple side knot to finish it off. Lots of moisturizing and hair love is in store this weekend. I'll share the details and results.
