Newsprint Gift Wrapping
This is my favorite method of wrapping gifts - newspaper print. I've been wrapping my gifts in newspaper print for the last four years and I think I'll stick to it. It's interesting, has great visual texture and can be made to look very sophisticated or playful. This year I'm using yarn to make bows instead of the self-stick gift bows. I'm also going to play with layering tissue paper over the print and see what happens.
I know I certainly appreciate the details in packaging. I love it when I get a gift and want to keep the wrapping and boxes. It makes the gift all the more special.
Other bonuses - inexpensive and earth-friendly.
